JUNE 2017
I want to wish the Recruit Class 56-16 congratulations and welcome to the Boston Police Department. For those of you who are unaware there is a specific young man we are very proud of, Claude DeFay. We wish him and his colleagues the very best.
@ The Round Table with MAMLEO hosted both the Commissioner and the Mayor as a courtesy to the community. If they are not answering the questions honestly to us the community got the opportunity up close and personal to see first hand what we go through on a regular basis. But the doors of communication are open.
In 2018 we will be celebrating "Fifty" years of service to the community and you. Plans are in the works to make that something special. Fifty years is a long time to be fighting the"good" fight and the work is not done. We still have officers being terminated every day for issues others are getting suspended for. For every Claude and Neil, there is a Kirk, Brenda and Dave so we can not give up.
On a lighter note, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the gentlemen a Happy Father's Day.
Larry Ellison, President of MAMLEO
